Well we stopped by (again) today. I got to STAND in my house!!! (sorry BD) BUT it hit me FINALLY. OMG im sooooo pumped.
The pond..
Only problems is, they have the fireplace in the wrong spot and they dont have a hole for our service door in the garage. Other then that I dont care because its AMAZING. Look at that view of the pond. How cute. They started to get the lot ready for our other neighbor. Curious to see if they will block the pond at all. Fringers crossed that we still have the view!!
We figure we will give it a day and see what its like tomorrow and if they dont fix it we will tell our PM. But, we dont need to step on anyones feet. ya know?

Be sure to bring it up to your PM's attention. Its important to catch those things. Everything looks great your house is on the road to being built. Very exciting. Do you have an estimated closing date yet? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteBitty...first you don't have to apoligize...I am very exited for you...I look at it this way...you and HW get a head start on us, but you 2 are just providing us with sneek peaks of what is coming very very soon for us :)
ReplyDeleteMore important....call your PM first thing in the morning...that is just not right that they screw up what i would call structural layout and more importantly it will let himn know you are closely watching his every move. Even though our sales rep has been fantastic and our PM was all over every single standard change and custom change we had done, we decide this week that we are definitely going to get our own home inspector to do a pre-drywall and final inspection...it is worth the peace-of-mind.
Now go back to being super excited....you deserve it!!!
