On the home front, things are moving right along. We did let our PM know about the 2 issues we came across. I guess he said that our lumber was actually from a different homesite where the loan fell threw so we got there lumber. Doesn't make sense to me. But whatever, we went back Friday and the fireplace was already fixed and all the windows were on. Pretty clean too. BD was right, our PM knows were watching now. lol.
Heres our newest pics.
<3
our pond view from the living room.
our stairs. Im pretty sure you arent suppose to use these, but we did for sure!
Oh yah, were really that close. One thing I hate in the condo is that every morning when im trying to find something to wear or changing before bed i have to make sure the blinds are all closed. Looks like thats going to be the same thing here.. =(
This was our awesome view of the pond.. Now however enter in neighbors.. I guess they got the morning room as well. HAHA. We are all going to be super close neighbors!! Really tho, its ok. I saw a deer drinking out of the pond last week. Like right out of a lifetime movie. Amazing.*
So thats the new pics. =) Time for my hellos since I STILL cant comment on peoples posts.
BD- CONGRATS**** OMG I love love love the pics of you and your wife digging. Esp. with the beers! I cant believe you took off work to see. Thats shows how long you have been waiting to break ground. HAHAH. And your hole is huge! How far away is the drive to see the new place? Are you going to be visiting very often? I think we have gone everyday. Even weekends when we know that they arent working =)
ps. You will still never catch up in this race. Your house is twice the size of mine lol. Your like the turtle. =) Speedy! hehe.
HW- I cant believe the drama of the inspection. Thats not cool. WOW I would be making some serious phone calls. Can you like call the city and find out rules? What if you go talk to your new neighbors and get their opinion?
Steph- whoooo who! House looks great. um, did you notice the little bonus window upstairs doesnt like slide open.. Kinda strange little window I must say. What are you going to do with it? As for a closing date, we told our PM we needed to sell the condo so I believe he told us first week in August.
Noey- I cant view your page. Is that happening to everyone? Noey hello are you there hahah.
LaLAdy- I love the outside of your house! Its amazing. (the little people are too) I cant wait to see it all. =)
Happy fathers day to everyone out there. =) xoxox

Hey there! Things look good! One good thing about being homeless....it usually means you're bill-less and that's a plus! I know you are excited about the swift progress. Its all gonna speed by now!
ReplyDeleteOh and you're little doggie is too cute!
ReplyDeleteBitty...we can't believe of the progress. It has been awhile since we have been to your site. It is amazing how fast time flies by. It all looks great!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with BD in his comments from another blog; keep up the good work and keep an eye on RH during the whole building process. They are human and make mistakes and you know better than anyone else the options you picked.
Enjoy the rest of the process...it all looks great!!!!
Glad things got straightened out. Remember, RH builds the walls and trusses in a factory and ships them to the building site as a kit and each piece is marked for it's location...so what he was telling you is that someone else was building the same model and their financing fell thru and they already had the framing done for it so they sent the wood kit to you instead.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for you regarding your home sale...it is such a relief when you get that done.
We are about 20-30 minutes away from our new home...I am sure we will be visiting frequently...if I could get away with it, I was just put a lawn chair out on the model home front lawn, tap into the wireless network, and just do my work from there...something tells me that my company wouldn't be happy with that though.
Slow and steady will beat the rabbit...see you at the finish line :)
Your house is coming along great!!!!!! You know what I had no idea that little window upstairs did not slide open at ALL!!!! I had no idea until you mention it. Now, I will have to check it out. As for what to do with it well I do plan to put up blinds for every window then add curtains or valences later. I will just have to play it by ear but will definitely do blinds.
ReplyDeleteClosing date for august will be coming up pretty quick and good luck with selling your condo. It will happen. :) Keep us informed.
I hope the viewing part changed for you! Hope it was a glitch!
ReplyDeleteAnyway...LOVIN' the pics!! It's coming along great! So, sounds like you guys took the 2nd offer. And.... when do you close? How is that going? Congrats!!!
