Hey everyone! What a fun exciting day today. I met (for real met) my neighbor Lish at our houses. Shes great! We are officially locked out of the house Boo. But the siding went up last week and the stone was started today take a look =)
I love it. I still cant picture it all finished and I still dont feel like its mine. Its all coming together. We scheduled a meeting with our PM for Monday at 7 AM. =) We just wanna take a peek inside. The drywall should be finished next week, and our tile will be started also. I wish I could go back and add the egress window to the basement. I wonder if they are hard to add later, or if you even can add them later. Boo. I so wish we would change things as we are going along. Kinda stinks. Even if it took an extra week, I wish we could. O-well
We also had a peek of..
All our Cabs. anddd..
me mailbox. =) Cant wait for my own mailbox! Funny the things we are excited for.
Chelly- sorry to hear about the windows. I would be bothered by it too. It will still be beautiful.
BD- looking good!! What about the homes sale on the other house?
HW- Your house gets bigger and bigger. Wow. Amazing! Any takers on your other house?
LaLady- Loving the hardwoods in the kitchen. They look different then the half bath. Are they?
Noey- How did you catch the wall being off 2 inches. OMG. I would have freaked haha. Is the granite going to be ok without the supports for now? eeks!
Appraisal on the condo Monday morning. Fingers crossed.

Progress Progress Progress...Looks Good!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget you should be able to get the key from the sales office anytime they are open so you can go in...and don't forget the little tip about going in and accidentally unlocking a window that you can climb in thru.
Take a deep breathe and relax about no egress window. They can easily be added later and if you want they can even add a walkout. Pretty sure you will have to do that when you finish the basement...I believe it is code.
B.E.A. Utiful!!! Your home is sooo beautiful! =)
ReplyDeleteBD to the rescue again with good information! lol
I don't know how they caught it. My DH says it harder to catch until the drywall is on. Then it's easier. But we didn't catch it. I know my PM is building something like 16 houses now, so he can't stop by everyday. But when he did, he noticed it and got it fixed. I'm thankful!!
There is no harm to granite. PM checked into it and I will have a total of 4 corbels/supports sometime this week!
You house is looking GRRRRRRRRRREAT!
Thanks Bitty! I think i'm better now! lol...
ReplyDeleteYour stone is looking good and booooo to the window being locked! That sucks...I like BD's tip about the window though! he he :)
Can't wait to see it all finished! I like your mailbox, I can't wait to get ours...we live in a town home now and we have to use a keep and its all of the way down the street from the house....grrrrrrr....lol
The pics look great! I do love your stones it looks nice....... There are at times I wish we gotten stone but boy they were expensive so we stuck with brick. I agree on the egress window I wished we could have gotten that. I thought they were standard on every house and did not even question that till after the house was built. Ohh well. Otherwise everything looks great!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Bitty! You're house looks so beautiful!!! I will be building a Venice with the same elevation K also (well, I have to wait for my loan approval first..lol). I wanted to ask how you like the small window in the living room/dining room. Can you tell if alot of light is getting in?? That's the only part that concerns me..but I absolutely love this elevation! =)
