Kitchen Cabs & Tile & =)

Hey Guys!! How is everyone? Our PM called friday and said they were going to start the trim. We went by the house on Friday night about 10:00 pm and they were STILL working... Really just for trim. Then todays "viewing" look what else we find...

Tile...
ANDDD Cabs!!!! I love them together! Yes!!!!

LOVE the trim on the cabs. Great upgrade! I highly recommend.
Cant wait to see the Granite. <3
I asked Seth if we could go to the house and have a glass of wine by the fireplace tonight. HA
 Master bath.
Soooo happy. Maybe because drywall is such a LONG process. I felt like we were in the drywall stage for almost 2 weeks. Then all of a sudden in 1 day it was magic. =) Whats everyones thoughts??

Everyones houses are coming along great. I think the post about the fireplace blower was great as well. BD you really do know the answers. Again, I didnt ever see that upgrade because I would have gotten it. I take that back. I might have seen it and had no clue what it was. After all, I live in Ohio and dont usually move in the winter. That would have been a great option.

3 Weeks till its move time out of the condo. Ahh. I dont think ill pack till ummmm maybe a few days before. I cant get motivated to move twice. =( Booo

  4. Noey Oh boy- Thats strange.. I didnt ask for hardware. It just came with it. strange right?.. Im glad tho because I like it. We did ask for them to leave off the hardware on the kitchen cabs. We are going to add our own later. We actually asked for them to give them to our sales rep later. She said she would use them. It is pretty amazing how fast they sneak things in. I was reading your blog last night and I think our granite should be next right??

Carlito. Sorry to hear about the wait... Time flys unless your waiting for your new house. HAHA. Good luck!!

  8. Oh my...the "blog Dad". I guess I have a lot of answers because we have a lot of experience with houses, BUT, a lot of my answers are because we ask tons of questions and our sales rep is fantastic at providing answers...we don't just accept that we are getting appliances, or fireplaces, or lights...I get the exact model numbers and go out and do the research on them...and I spend tons of time reading all the blogs looking for information and things I didn't think about. Didn't even think about checking into the furnace provided until someone else mentioned they were upgrading theirs...why in the world would you need to upgrade? Because Ryan Homes only provides an 80% efficient unit and for not too much money you can upgrade to a 90% efficient unit.

  9. Bitty I think that's same one we picked " uba tuba" that will look great ! BD ur on it like white on rice !!!!

  10. Robert. no its not the uba tuba. I actually have never seen it on any blogs. I think most people do choose the uba tuba. Just not me =)
BD- see there you go again! haha. I actually didnt know that. Are you going to upgrade it now?
    Noey- THANKSSSSS Cant wait. <3

  11. @Robert - Uba Tuba is a green colored granite.

@Bitty - We already did the Furnace upgrade. Upgrading to the 90% efficient unit was quite reasonable, but the jump to a 92% or 95% was crazy for the little bit more efficiency that you get. On a side note, because the Furnace is so efficient you end up not having to run a Furnace "chimney/vent" out the roof, because a large amount of the excess gas is used during the reburn process...kind of a side benefit.
