Hey everyone! How is everything? Well we got the news today from NVR that we were approved. YAHHH!!! However, we were approved for 201,000 which is what the loan officer had the loan at. He told us that we could spend up to 210,000. So we are maxed out at like 209,900. HAHA. Leave it to us. We picked out floors again...
On the left (the more tan looking tile) was the old tile. The new place had more choices and Jen was very helpful. She had a more grey tone tile to match the grey granite. I actually do like it the more I look at it (the big tile on the bottom). She also had us pick out our grout colors. We didnt have to do that at the first place we went. So now im really happy. We REALLY want to put hardwoods in as well but lets face it. We cant afford it all. I might swing up there tomorrow and see if I can change it again.
This is the part where Seth just cant wait. All I can think about is all these colors and its stressing me out. I keep questioning all the colors were choosing and if thats really what I want. I think I need a glass of wine or something.. humm not a bad idea. =)
Noey- Im sorry to hear about the grandfather. I cant even read thru your blog without tearing up. =( Ill keep you guys in my thoughts. Turns out my grandpas cancer was actually removed with his "colonoscopy" and he didnt understand that. Gosh I couldnt imagine being 89yrs old. It would be so hard. Cant we stay young forever?
India- I feel like you have been kinda MIA on us. HAHA. Its because Seans getting into everything isnt it? =)
BD- congrats on the #1 home sale!!! Whoop whoop!! Good news. happy to hear!
Stephanie- Crazy how fast the house went up. Cant wait to see more!
Heather- Love the floors and the yard!! how do you plan on putting a doggy door in? Because I need to know how to as well. hahhaha I have NOOO Idea!

I love your colors. The dark cabinets are going to look great! About wanting hardwood floors...the floor you chose is great! You can always look forward to doing hardwood floors in a couple of years! These colors go well together and they are going to look great! Good choices.

Congrats, I am doing a little dance for you on getting approved! I know how you feel with the hardwood floor part I wanted it too but with all the add on with the house the expenses can go up pretty fast! Hopefully in a couple of years I can redo the floors.

Congrats on getting approved - can't wait to see your house start taking shape. It will probably be late July or early August before we have our family room all put together, but I will definitely post pics when we get the sectional.

Deidre- LOL LOL! good luck with the vinyl. We have it at the condo and once we pulled the fridge out to paint behind it. When pushing it back the vinyl came up. And the bathroom has this neon yellow stain that makes you think of urine. Its not and it nasty, but I cant get it to come up. So we had home depot come out and quote us on new. guess how much they wanted for vinyl. 900 DOLLARS. Are the kidding me? hahaha. Anyways. you just watch that stuff. It doesnt like me, hopefully it will like you!

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA HILARIOUS BRIT!!!!!! I know I know....ugggh you guys dont understand!!! My commute got a lil bit longer...i get home like 515ish...come home feed Sean...cook dinner and the NBA playoffs are on almost everyday....I have been so exhausted!!! Yesterday I passed out at 8pm..who does that? lol but yes Im trying to keep up with everyone...I will go back and look at everyones blogs...i promise!!!

ReplyDeleteIndia- if u get this ;) I know what you mean. I get home after 5 everyday. It takes me 40 mins to get to/from work. It gets better.. in the snow it can take up to 2 hours! AHHH Why dont I live in Florida? Which team are you hoping gets the championship? My boyfriend is a Bulls and Celtics fan.
