Pre construction meeting

Hey everyone! How's it going? Sorry I've been so M.I.a. A week and a half ago my grandma passed. It was very sudden, she was ok and then woke up with a headache and turned into a brain anurysum. Then we had a few hours with her, but not with her because she was not responsive from the pain meds. It's hard, a lot harder then I thought it would be... My grandpa is alone and lost. They have been married for 66 yrs. She was 88... I miss her

We had our pre construction meeting yesterday. (BD i guess our timing will be almost on the same page) Our PM is awesome. He's around our age.. Which makes it fun because he gets us. Our sales rep was there and she ordered the 4 of us pizza. It was a good time. The best part was when we first sat down with him. He introduced himself and the first question was "I noticed you guys have different last names, are you engaged". I spoke up and shouted "no, but feel free to apply the pressure". Lol. It was the perfect start to the meeting. Our Meeting was also 2.5hrs long.. Went over the details. Then we walked the lot... Which we have already done. However, this time they had all the sticks in the ground so we saw where the garage and morning room were going to be. Let me say that it looks soooo small. Sooo small. Our PM Said thats what everyone thinks and says. He said we will think it's smaller once it goes up. He said when they do drywall it will start to look bigger. Crazy. Even our yard it tiny. But I guess we will see if it Changes when its all done.

We are breaking ground either wednesday or thursday next week. He said we would be done late July eraly august. I told him to please take his time because the condo hasn't sold. He's
going to work with us. He's doing a few things on a the DL that I don't know if I should say.
I don't want to get people in trouble around here. Anyways he's pumped about our options. He
pry said at least 3 times "wow, this is going to be a nice house" that made us feel good. Other then that thats all that is new here is depressing old Ohio with nothing but rain. I hope everyones doing well hugs.
