Lot/Pond

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone is off and enjoying the long weekend. =) 3 days sure do fly by. We met up with our sales rep Thursday. She might be my new best friend. haha. We ended up transferring our "contract" to Streetsboro vs. starting everything all over from scratch. This way we were locked in to the old FHA laws. If not our payment with the new law would have went up 40/50 dollars a month. We were lucky that Inna (sales rep) worked with the NVR loan guy to get us locked in 1 day before the new law. Otherwise, we wouldn't have even known about it. (see, new best friend) lol. So in doing all this. We signed a "change notice" for the difference in the price of the home, the change in the garage (3 car to now our 2 car) and they took off the 3500 for the walkout basement. Now with all that off we still have room to upgrade. Whooo!
Our price was 245000 ish before & now we are down to about 201000. Dont forget the difference in taxes tho. So now we would like to finish the basement and that would bring us to about our max. Bad news is, since we "transfered" our contract... We really arent allowed to change anything because we are past the time to change.  However, I don't know if anyone knows this secret. You can change things, (major things) for a fee. Its only a 250 dollar fee. So were going to do it. Saturday we scheduled an appointment with Inna to sit down and do all of our changes at once. So tomorrow everything has to be final! At least we will get the finished basement. Now that we know we can change things you should see our list of changes that we wrote down. Might as well do it all at once since we are paying for it. Everyones pictures have me thinking now. =) Thanks guys! hehe. We have the 42" cabs in the kitchen. I noticed some people have trim on top of it. It makes it look complete. Also, we are getting the granite. Some people have the extra piece of granite that stands about 3 inches on the back wall. (Not sure what thats called) We dont want that piece because we would like to do a back splash one day. We also want a service door. Everyone says how small their garages are. Were thinking that might help Seth out a bit with trash day and all. =) (thanks guys) There are some more things. It all depends where we are dollar wise.
This is a long blog. =) We didn't have any showings on the condo this week. Eeekks. That puts a little scare on it all. Here are some pictures we took of the lot.
