Hey guys, sorry I have been MIA for a while now theres been a lot going on. Well last I blogged was when were were about to lose our lot. Once that was said I guess things kicked in. Seth and I know that we wanted that development for the lot. If we dont have the lot, then we dont even really want that development. We were paying 150-200 more a month in taxes alone. Not to mention the 3000$ lot charge and the base price of the Venice was like 190000 something. So we thought about it. We were about to walk away...
Then we went and talked to the girl at Meadowview here in Streetsboro & ended up wanting to switch developments. She pulled some strings and we pissed off some people in the long run but its worth it. We werent going to get the lot we wanted & we would barley afford what we were getting anyways. Seth doesnt want to live for a house payment. After all we do want to get married one day and still be able to afford a vacation once in a while. I guess it would also be nice to eat too! hehe.
So thats our big news. Were staying in boro!!!! Whooooo! Im pumped. Seth wont get his 3rd car garage. (which he is sad about) but that is 10000 off the upgrades (full basement trade?? haha) and our base price is like 168000. Taxes are cheaper. Its all positive. We wont have the walk out basement BUT we have a pond in our backyard! That will be so pretty im pumped for it. So there is good things and bad things. In the end im much happier. Especially because Seth is happier. Good day!
Everyones houses look great! I look forward to everyones pictures. I gave up on messaging on peoples pages. I just will keep all my thoughts in my little head. =) I did see Alissa comment on the Idol. Just wanted to say that im team Lauren! What about everyone else? India. The house is awesome! ReplyDeleteI was starting to get worried! I'm so happy for you. Less travel during the move, cheaper $$ amount for the house and for the taxes! All makes for a cheaper house payment! =) And the pond sounds awesome!

Hey guys! Thanks everyone so much!!! With that and the condo and I turned 27! EEkks! lots going on here. =)
ReplyDeleteIndia- yes lots of action on the condo. Im actually over cleaning. haha. We had an offer I believe the 2nd or 3rd week it was on the market. They were 10000 under our asking. AND our asking is 10000 under what we paid in the first place. So that didnt work out well. They we countered and they only came up 500 from their offer. HAHA. We have had 1-2 viewings a week tho. I guess thats good news. Keep your fingers crossed. So FUNNY. We had a HUGE black spider in our basement the other morning. (eek) and Seth wouldnt get out of bed to kill it. He kept saying "just sweep it up with the vacuum" Duh- that wont kill it Seth. I sprayed it with fantastic (all I could find) and needless to say... it didn't kill it HAHA. So I totally went out and bought a fake little black spider to get him back. I put it next to his toothbrush... annndddd totally didnt work! HAHAHA.
Noey814- I want your KITCHEN! haha. I LOVE your cabs and granite. So jealous. I wish we had those options. Cant wait to see it! Good point on the cheaper move. I didnt think about that. Its really only 1-2 miles down the road. =) For sure the biggest change* award. I guess Ryan homes really is willing to work with you right? =) Always have to push the limits a bit.
Deidre- Poor guys. I actually kinda feel bad for them. We asked if we could extend the garage in any way and we got a no way on that. =( the garages dont look too big either. I told him we can get a shed* hahahahhaa.
Deidre- HAHA I cant read. Daniel DID end up getting the garage. Aw Good for him. =) I ended up telling Seth we cant have it all at 27&29. He will get it one day.. Your house looks huge tho. Love the tub

ReplyDeleteOh yes and... We also were locked in with the old FHA MI rate. Before the new law that started on Monday. Saving us about 40-50$ a month! Whoop whoop! All this savings!

How has the experience gone so far? Is the PM good, one of the guys I met out there said he had some issues with the PM leaving his house unlocked and lights on?
